Those that have allegedly seen Ryx describe her as a decaying deity of pestilence, pollution, and inevitable collapse. They say she appears as a skeletal matron cloaked in dripping filth, crowned in jagged swamp-iron and crowned by rot. Apparently, her hollow eyes glow with sickly green malice, and her voice is said to curdle blood. They even say where she walks, fungus blossoms, steel rusts, even the strongest resolve rots from within, and that her staff, carved from drowned bone and tarnished metal, can summon storms of bile, raise the drowned dead, or dissolve flesh with a single sweep. In [[Velgrath]], her worship is banned, but I have seen whispered invocations are still made in the gutters and slag pits by those who seek vengeance through decay in the [[Public/Wikipedia/The Godless Deep/Velgrath/Steamgutters/Steamgutters]]. Though, some say she was once a beautiful maiden, but those claims are substantially outnumbered.
